WarrantyNest — Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 11, 2026
WarrantyNest ("the app") helps you track product warranties, receipts, and
purchase records. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.
What we collect
- Your content: product names, brands, models, serial numbers,
purchase dates, warranty periods, and the photos you add (receipts, products).
Stored in Google Firebase (Firestore & Cloud Storage) so it syncs safely.
- Anonymous account ID: the app creates an anonymous Firebase
account automatically. No name, email, or phone number is required or collected.
- Purchase history: if you subscribe to Pro, purchase state is
processed by RevenueCat and Apple. We never see your payment details.
- Usage & diagnostics: anonymous usage statistics (Firebase
Analytics) and crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics) to keep the app working well.
What we don't do
- No tracking across other companies' apps or websites; no IDFA use.
- No selling or renting data — to anyone, ever.
- No ads.
- None of your data is linked to your real-world identity.
Where your data lives
Data is stored on Google Firebase servers (EU region — europe-west1).
Processors: Google LLC (Firebase), RevenueCat Inc. (subscriptions), Apple Inc.
(payments). Each processes data only to provide their service.
Your control
- Export: download all your data as CSV anytime from Settings.
- Delete: Settings → Delete Account permanently removes all your
products, photos, and the anonymous account from our servers.
Data retention
Your content is kept until you delete it or delete your account. Crash and
analytics data is retained by Firebase for up to 14 months.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information
from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an
updated effective date.
